We typically TNR over 250 cats every year. Trap-neuter-return saves lives. cat are brought o the clinic and when they go home are left with an ear tip on the right ear that is a universal sign that that cat has been treated, and vaccinated. that prevent cats from being brought to the shelter and euthanize for other reasons. Trap Neuter return (TNR) is a method of humanely taking cats from the community to clinics for spay and neuter, vaccinations, treating injuries, and returning them to their home. Feral cats do not want to live inside so they almost always go through the TNR process. often, we discover that socialized cats who are abandoned outdoors have been brought to clinics, and we will keep them and help them become adoptable. we perform TNR in communities throughout San Diego county, to save the live of the cats, the kittens that are born, and assist the community and businesses with cats living on their property.
